At the end of May, the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) released their updated rankings. And two Holsteiner show jumpers are among the top ten: in first place Connor Swails (IRL) Theo by Christian-Calando IV (Jenny Abrahamsson, SWE-Karlskrona), Stamm 8856, has made it. Currently the second best Holsteiner in eighth place is Zaccorado Blue by Zirocco Blue-Acorado (Tanja Schramm, Ilmenau), Stamm 1298.
In the Studbook Ranking, the Holsteiner Verband is currently ranked second in show jumping, third in eventing and eleventh in dressage. Horses from the land between the seas are also represented twice in the eventing top ten: Firstly by JL Dublin by Diarado-Canto (Volker Götsche-Götze, Groß Buchwald) by Nicola Wilson (GBR), Stamm 1907, and secondly by Dacapo by Diarado-Canturo (ZG Bock, Schülp), Stamm 8805, by Laura Collett (GBR).
