The rankings of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) have been updated - in the Studbook Ranking Jumping the Holsteiner Verband has taken the top position.
These rankings are calculated based on the top successes of the best six horses according to points of a breeding federation. For the Holsteiner Verband these are, for example, Theo by Christian-Calando IV (Jenny Abrahamsson, SWE-Karlskrona), Stamm 8856, in third place. Or also Zaccorado Blue by Zirocco Blue-Acorado (Tanja Schramm, Ilmenau), Stamm 1298, in eighth place. In the eventing ranking, Holstein is also in fourth place, and in dressage it is eighth.
In the ranking of the best jumping sires, Casall by Caretino-Lavall I (Wilfried Thomann, Drelsdorf), Stamm 890, is listed in sixth place. Cardento by Capitol I-Lord (Reimer Witt, Wellinghusen), Stamm 741, in seventh position. Diarado by Diamant de Semilly-Corrado I (Klaus Kristensen, DEN), Stamm 318D2, leads the eventing sire ranking. Contendro I by Contender-Reichsgraf (Manfred Birchler, SUI), Stamm 104A, is ranked fifth.
