The year 2023 still holds several important Holstein events, including a stallion performance test with saddle licensing - as part of the Autumn Event from October 26 to 28 - and the young stallion licensing from December 13 to 16 in Elmshorn.
The Holstein Autumn Event at the end of October includes a shortened ability test and sport test for stallions with saddle licensing. In addition, a select collection of riding horses will be up for auction.
Registration for the short ability test takes place via the stallion performance test portal of the German Equestrian Federation (FN). The sport test is already fully booked. The deadline for registration is September 25, 2023.
The young stallion licensing for 2021 candidates will be held for the first time in Elmshorn as a pilot project in December 2023. For the pre-selection from October 30 to November 3, registration is now possible. Young stallions with a date of birth after June 13, 2021 cannot participate in the pre-selection due to animal protection regulations. The registration deadline for the pre-selection is September 8, 2023.
