Holsteins dominate in the USA

In the USA, more precisely in Lexington (Kentucky), Caillou by Casall-Corrado I (Max-Hermann Johannsen, Hörup), Stamm 4510, and Karl Cook (USA) won a 1.55 metre show jumping competition worth over 72,000 dollars. And a horse with Holstein paper also came in second: Austria, who is also by Casall out of a Corrado I dam, was once again top placed with Kent Farrington (USA). Heide M. Kriegler (Sigless) is the breeder of this representative of the 4564 line.

In a tour for juniors at the same show, the Canstakko-Carthago daughter Celina BH (Lonnie Bechmann Schultz, Rödding/DEN), strain 3323, helped her young rider Mimi Gochman (USA) to another victory this year in a 1.40m test and top placings.

Conor Swail, who comes from Ireland, had every reason to be happy: With the Christian-Calando IV son Theo (Jenny Abrahamsson, Karlskrona), Stamm 8865, he won a 1.45m course in the US Thermal at a three-star show. In 2021, the pair was already victorious several times in Vancouver (CAN) and Tryon (USA) up to 1.50 metre level.

In Vilamoura, Portugal, the Quadros-Carentan son Quadrosson Ask (Werner Schumacher, Meerbusch), Stamm 1947, and Andreas Schou (DEN) also won a competition over 1.45 metres. The ten-year-old bay collected successes up to 1.50 metres this year.

Eventing

There are only a few eventing competitions left this year, one of which was won by Maitänzer by Water Dance xx-Cristo. In Temecula (USA), the bay stallion bred by Hans-Otto Werner, Walzbachtal, won a three-star endurance test. He was presented by Tamra Smith (USA).
