Stallion Performance Test in Münster-Handorf: Outstanding Holsteiner Results

For the second time this year, young show jumping stallions presented themselves for the performance test in Münster. 24 competed in the sport test, eight took part in the short test - and Holsteiner stallions performed excellently.

Chavaros II led the field of five-year-olds: The grey stallion bred by Reimer Detlef Hennings from Bendorf, who represented the stallion station Maas J. Hell in Klein Offenseth in Münster, impressed with his great power and overview. He received an 8.8 for ability and manner, and an even 9.0 for rideability, as well as for his prospects as a show jumper. Together with an 8.5 for canter, this resulted in a weighted final score of 8.8 for the son of Charleston (MV: Con Air), line 1571.

The second-best result of the four-year-old stallions was delivered by the Casall son Chapeau del Pierre. Equipped with good basic gaits, he particularly impressed with his high rideability (8.8) and finished the sport test with a final score of 8.5. Chapeau del Pierre was bred by Peter and Thorsten Diedrichsen from Borgsum out of a Quirado dam, line 318D2. The bay was exhibited by Dirk Ahlmann from Reher.

Another Holsteiner was the best in the short test: Magnus von der Söhr received a final score of 8.12.The stallion by Manchester van't Paradijs-Comme il faut (breeder: Christian Schröder, Groß Wittensee, exhibitor: Sven Völz, Bienenbüttel) impressed not only with his good free jumping (ability 8.8) but also with his rideability (8.3) and willingness to perform (8.4).

These are the results of Holsteiners, regardless of their licensing status with the Holsteiner Verband. Stallions marked with * are not licensed by the Holsteiner Verband.
