The foal championship of the Schlesig-Flensburg breeding district took place in Hörup as part of the Springflut Festival in front of a magnificent backdrop and packed stands. In the colts, a descendant of Charaktervoll out of a Cassilano dam (Gunter Hartwich, Tetenhusen) came out on top. The Champion as well as Reseve champion by Casall-Corrado I (Bernd Carstensen-Möller, Langstedt) qualified for participation in the State Foal Championships. In the filly lot, the commission selected a daughter of United Way out of a Corrado I dam (Max-Hermann Johannsen, Hörup) as the Champion. A dressage-oriented filly by Sky-Catoo (Malte Kuhnert, Freienwill) and a daughter by Chacco's Son-Loveless followed in second and third place and thus qualified for the championships in Elmshorn on August 20.
