The Jumping Committee of the German Olympic Committee for Equestrianism (DOKR) has nominated the pairs for the European Jumping Championships. The European Championships will be held from August 29 to September 3 in Milan (ITA).
The team of national coach Otto Becker includes the Limbus-Cambridge son Limbridge (Ralf Pawlowski, Heidenheim), Stamm 741, and Jana Wargers. The bay and his 32-year-old rider have already represented German colors several times, most recently, for example, in Nations Cups at the Aachen Soers (GER) and Rome (ITA). In addition, they were successful at the highest level in Windsor (GBR), Leipzig (GER) and Geneva (SUI) in 2023.
In addition, Elysium by Zirocco Blue-Coronado (Manfred Tummes, Mühlheim), Stamm 4539, and Hans-Dieter Dreher have been designated as reserves.
For Sweden, Zuccero by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), Stamm 4539, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson have been nominated. The British have nominated Di Caprio by Diarado-Cassini I (Carsten Harms. Bremerhaven), Stamm 1752, and Donald Whitaker.
