On Thursday, June 22, 2023, the last field test for mares of the year is scheduled at the grounds of the Holsteiner Verband in Elmshorn. From 9.00 a.m. spectators are cordially invited to get a picture of the mares.
In this field test, around 40 Holsteiner mares, Trakehner mares and mares registered with the Pferdestammbuch SH/HH will face the judges. The test starts with the assessment of the free jumping by two judges. Afterwards, the mare is presented again to the judges under her own rider in a section to check the basic gaits and rideability. Then the foreign rider test takes place to assess the rideability. The mares should mount their rider without any problems and be able to be ridden remonte in the three basic gaits on the track.
