Assembly of Delegates December 2023

On 13 December, the delegates from the breeding districts met for the second annual meeting in Elmshorn. The agenda included the reports of the chairman and the managing directors, some amendments to the statutes and the election of a substitute member of the licensing commission. A detailed report will be published in the February issue of PFERD+SPORT.

Here are the most important results of the Delegates' Meeting:

The motion to amend the statutes was put to the vote to allow licensed three-year-old stallions to be provisionally registered in Stallion Book I in the first year without a short assessment test in future. This is primarily due to the short time window between licensing and testing - keyword animal welfare - and also because similar content would be tested at licensing and the short assessment test. The meeting approved the motion to amend the statutes.

There will be a new event in spring 2024: On 22 and 23 March, the spring auction will be framed by the licensing originally scheduled for April, and there will also be a joint stallion presentation of association and private stallions.

Carsten Lauck was elected as a substitute member of the licensing commission. The proposal for his candidature was made in advance by the representatives of the stallion owners' meeting.
