Sigrun - called Sigi - Günther has been loyal to the Holsteiner Verband in Elmshorn for 45 years. On August 1, 1978, she began her work, which she still carries out today with great passion, sound knowledge of horses and expertise.
Once upon a time, at the age of 15, she began her apprenticeship with the then training manager Horst Walter. At that time as a groom - the training that today is called Pferdewirtin with specialization in horse keeping and service. Even before starting her apprenticeship, Sigrun Günther always came straight from school to the riding and driving school to help care for the horses and to ride. Later, she cared for the show horses of Herbert Blöcker, Thieß Luther, Bo Kristoffersen and Lars Bak Andersen before finally taking over the stable management. With Sigi, the auction horses are in the best of hands, and the team relies on her expertise and experience for marketing selection appointments. But Sigrun Günther not only knows almost every Holsteiner horse and its pedigree, but also very many customers from Germany and abroad. They appreciate her for her competence around the horse as well as for the cooperation based on trust and honesty.
